One thing to note. Because of its unique position on the island's northern end, getting to the Sandals Grande St. Lucian can be a bit bumpy by car, and the transfer time is approximately ninety minutes. If this is a concern, we recommend a helicopter tour with St. Lucia Helicopters. Here, you'll fly into the St. George F.L Charles Airport, which is only about 15 minutes away from the resort. Even if you’re comfortable with the drive, this flight to the north is one you’ll remember forever!

How far away is Sandals Grande St Lucian from the airport? A: The resort transfer takes approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours over scenic, windy, and sometimes narrow roads. It might be best to consider helicopter transfers for those prone to car sickness. This reduces the transfer time to about 15 min (plus a short drive to the Grande).
Sandals Grande Saint Lucian's per-person pricing starts at $315.00 per night. Additional discounts can be combined with the weekly 777 promotion, in which Sandals features seven rooms at seven resorts and discounts them a further 7%.
Dinner reservations are required for some restaurants. We recommend making your first one through the Sandals app 14 days before arrival.

On the Mediterranean side of Sandals Antigua, the rooms are spacious and have a small balcony overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
The bathroom is large, with a jacuzzi bath and a rainforest shower. Note: For 2025, the rooms in this village have not yet been updated and still maintain the original Italian charm with dark wood furniture and green marble countertops.
One thing to note. The Mediterranean Village is set back from the beach but has the best ocean views. It only takes a few minutes to walk there, just past the beautiful pool and Barefoot restaurant. Travel Tip: Go to the 7th floor for an amazing photo op!
The beach along the Mediterranean Village is beautiful but narrow. Further down by the Caribbean Village, you'll find the most available seating.
Their water sports team is amongst the best within the Sandals Resort brand. They'll always go out of their way to ensure you’re having a safe and amazing time.
Antigua is not known for scuba diving, but it is a fun activity with great locations. We particularly enjoy the drift dives.
Unlike other Sandals Resorts, Sandals Grande Antigua does not have a boat dock, so you need to wade through shallow water to get on and off the boat.
Day beds around the pools are abundant and can be reserved for a small fee.
The Red Lane Spa is exceptional in every way. We highly recommend its 30-minute lavender scalp massage, which costs an additional $65.
Fire pits throughout the resort are great to cozy up to in the evening.
We enjoy visiting the piano bar at night. It's a wonderful place to sing songs, socialize with other guests, and make new friends.
If you are thinking about having a wedding or renewing your vows at Sandals Grande Antigua, the wedding staff is dedicated to bringing your dream celebration to life.
